Glue is a well-funded startup working on the next generation of work communication tools. We believe that today’s work chat is noisy, unstructured, and not designed for productivity. We’re drawing from decades of communication innovation in structured notes, email, groups, and real-time messaging to create a tool that gets out of the way and lets teams exchange information and make decisions in a more natural way.

Here, you won't be just another cog in the machine—you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to streamline and automate our software development and deployment processes. Your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver high-quality software quickly, reliably, and securely, making a real difference in how we build, test, and deploy our solutions.
What you'll do
- Spearhead the implementation and management of DevOps tools, practices, and processes to enhance software development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing and deployment to accelerate software delivery and minimize risk.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot production systems, rapidly identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Drive continuous improvements in system reliability, scalability, and security through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and robust configuration management practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies, implementing secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening.
- Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, security, and cloud computing; leverage this knowledge to enhance our DevOps workflows and security posture.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the DevOps team and across the organization.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to protect and maintain critical system functionality.

- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, GitHub Workflows, Jenkins, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development and versioning.
- Expertise in monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or the ELK stack to ensure system visibility and performance.
- Strong grasp of networking protocols, security practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, well-suited for a fast-paced, agile, and team-driven environment.
